NSAI Song Feedback Consent Agreement
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
If you are playing a song, NSAI thanks you for participating in our programs and services.
NSAI is one of the few organizations that will take the time to listen and evaluate your songs.
Due to legal considerations, it is required to have your consent any time an
NSAI guest, facilitator, or attendee hears your song,
whether it be through the Song Evaluation Service, Pitch-to-Publisher Night, Critique Night,
One-on-One Counseling, etc., or at any one of NSAI’s special events, meetings, workshops, services, etc.
If you are a meeting attendee, you agree not to take co-writing credit for your feedback
unless you enter into a formal, written co-writing agreement with the person playing his/her song.
All song feedback at workshop meetings is for educational purposes only.
As an attendee, you agree not to post, take, or use songwriters' lyrics, melodies,
and any other such copyrighted intellectual property and material presented at the meeting
without his/her expressed and/or written consent.
Your attendance and submission of a song (whether lyric, instrumental only, or music and lyrics) for
critique or feedback by NSAI constitutes your agreement to release, indemnify and hold harmless
NSAI and its employees, board of directors, officers, attorneys, coordinators,
members, guests, agents and representatives from and against any claim,
including, without limitation, of copyright infringement or other misappropriation,
arising from any acts or omissions in connection with your submission.
If you agree with the above, please check "Yes" below to give your consent.
